The idea for Gould PI was born from the 30-year struggle to find my own birth parents. I was adopted when I was just a baby, and as I grew older my desire to learn more about my real parents intensified. Where are they? Who are they? Are they still alive? Why did they abandon me? What will I say if I do find them? Will meeting them be everything I imagined? Like I tell my clients today with their own search for the truth, I had every right to know who my parents were.

I ultimately found my birth parents and, though the end result was definitely not what I expected – or hoped for – knowing my story has given me a sense of peace. I also realized during that process just how much I wanted to help people in similar situations. Yes, we are a private investigation firm, but we are a unique partner in your search for the truth.

I say unique because while most public investigators try their best to create that personal tie with their customers, a significant percentage likely are unprepared to handle the emotional aspect each case brings. Gould PI is a local and independent private investigation company founded and located in Denton, TX. We have more than 30 years of experience and can take on any case, whether that be for a missing person, background check, on-site surveillance, or other private investigations. While we operate primarily in North Texas, including the cities of Denton, Frisco, Southlake, Keller, Arlington, Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Garland, Grand Prairie, McKinney, Mesquite, and others, we are licensed to handle any case that originates in Texas. We are also licensed to operate in the states of Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Mississippi, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
